Fall Farm Class

Come to the farm to get hands on with the animals! In this four week class, you will explore different animals each week! Gather the chicken eggs week one and see chicks by week 3! Card the wool we sheared during summer camp, feed the tortoise, work in the garden, trim the goat’s hooves, milk the goats, meet the piggies (maybe see some babies…), play with the calf, pet the ponies, feel the sheep as their wool fills in, and who knows what other adventures we’ll have!

Week one: eggs, birds (chickens, ducks, peacocks, guinea fowl), tortoise and garden

We will gather the eggs, place some in the incubator, work on the chicken’s nests, meet the peacocks, ducks and other fowl, work in the garden and feed the tortoise!

Week two: pigs and ponies

We will get to know the pigs, feed them, groom the ponies, and visit all of our farm friends.

Week three: goats and cows

We will milk the goats, trim the hooves, visit with the cows and get up close and personal with the calf!

Week four: sheep, mules and more!

We will clean and card the wool we sheared this summer, we’ll get to know the mule and explore the farm!

Classes are close to each other, so siblings are welcome to attend together. Large classes are split into age groups (2-5, 6-9, 10 & up). Class is appropriate for ages 2 and up.

Choose Mondays at 10, Tuesdays at 12 or Wednesdays at 5 (each class is one hour).
